Spinnergeoff Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 (edited) Further information: A bit out there, but will suit someone. These were the power behind the Allen (USA) church organ speakers. They drove the 15" three way monster speakers (now sold) to high levels and across a full frequency range. They were said to be working at the time of removal from the church, but I have not tested them. They will need a solid, (two sockets) power down converter such as the Genpower sold on ebay for about $60 to 85 (depending on capacity) which convert 240V to 120. There are two power transistors in each amplifier labelled MJ4502, but I don't know the actual power output. I will be talking to the local Allen rep and may find out soon. Sold as-is for this low price; any further work and cabling I have to do would see that price double. I have included photos of the underside so the state of the circuitry can be seen - looks pretty good for 1970s vintage gear. Note added: I have the original step-down transformer which the buyer can have, but it does need rewiring - new input lead, and perhaps a power board to take these leads, which incidentally are still USA type.
