exomoons Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 (edited) Hi guys. Hope you guys are enjoying your holidays. I've just got a NVA AP20 or what looks like to be an AP20 with heatsink (which is unheard of). Upon further inspection it doesn't look like anything (to my knowledge) of an AP20. Does anyone have any idea? Edited January 1, 2022 by exomoons
r3x Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Looks like an ap20. Are those output devices really stuck to the back plastic case? i've never seen the single board version, but the layout is the same.
exomoons Posted January 8, 2022 Author Posted January 8, 2022 You are right, it is indeed the AP20 and yes the output transistors are "glued" to the back metal case. The heatsink is also glued to the back but it is bigger than the case (longer vertically) so might not be a factory one.
r3x Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Ah, it's an early one, before Richard switched to black acrylic front and back and alu top and bottom. No idea about the heatsink. Used with a nice efficient speaker it should be pretty good (mine was magic before the DIL destroyed it). 1
