Super Mustud Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Just watched the 4k Blu Ray of Vertigo with the family. For those who are interested in tech details, played through an Oppo 203 to a Sony A80j screen. Absolutely loved the movie. Video and audio is super. Also enjoyed the restoration extra afterwards, and seeing one of the restoration specialists talking who until then I had only enjoyed communicating with on a digital theatre forum. This stuff is just so good. We are lucky to live in an age where we can archive for future generations, in great detail, the creations and thoughts of our time. 1 1

Super Mustud Posted January 4, 2022 Author Posted January 4, 2022 Quite so. Also, I have been very appreciative of the very good audio of the 4K discs I have bee watching. Usually on a Sonos Arc soundbar and otherwise on a large projection screen and a 5.1 Denon audio system with ceiling mounted rear speakers. As i get older I am increasingly aware of the benefit of physical media in regards to audio quality. Streaming sucks!!! 1
