Further information:

Has anyone ever told you your NADs weren't big enough? Have you ever felt like you needed more NADs? Fear not, I have you covered!

I am the first owner of these items bought new from Addicted to Audio. Great sounding gear, even by today's standards. Attached 2TB of storage can be managed as a NAS device from a PC on the same network. Bluesound OS app works really well and is frequently updated. Can access streaming services or play direct from the storage vault. Stream direct out of the Spotify app, hell even your wife can play with your NADs if you buy these bad boys.

Couple of small marks as shown courtesy of my youngest son who has recently decided to get into/onto/around high-end audio himself.

Items included in the sale:

  • NAD M50 Streamer
  • NAD M52 2TB RAID drive Vault
  • NAD M51 DAC

Grab yourself a deal. Upgrade your NADs.

Really boys; a great team effort – Go Nads!

But as the official team Dr in the house, I feel we should see if  Cryptik can laugh in the face of adversity, I suggest we give him a test tickle and monitor the response; if that works I prescribe two test tickles, twice a day for a week!

Well @CryptiK, that’ll teach you to be funny ;)

I’d like that view from behind, as requested earlier, in particular: do any of these devices contain an amp (which is what I know NAD for)?

Yes the attempted humour was a monumental cockup on my behalf. Really shafted my own thread 😂

This gear forms a really solid digital front end and DAC. The DAC has a variable digital output if desired and can be used as a preamp directly feeding a power amp.

I ran them into my Pass Labs XP12 + X250.5 combo for years and was completely satisfied with the sound and functionality.

Thank you good sir and esteemed medical professional of the forum.

If anyone is interested in the pair of NADs, rather than springing for all three, then I would happily split the DAC from the M50 and M52 vault. The ad is priced as a trio as per the rules but just reach out if anyone should be wondering if the ‘package’ is firm.

I even manage to disgust myself sometimes…

I'm afraid my budget for this year was spent last year - but it that a USB port on the front for simple transfer of existing files?

Files are easier to transfer en masse via a network connection over WiFi to the vault. You then index this storage centre via the M50 and away you go.

It's called strabismus.

Size obviously does matter to some! :)
