Further information:

These are terrific speakers which really go well with a powerful amplifier.

The company was started by 2 ex-BBC engineers and has gone from strength to strength.

Photos:

I have attached 2 stock photos as well as my 3 photos. I have the 2 boxed up and waiting to be sold.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks for reading.

I’m intrigued with these.  The tweeters do not match the stock pictures you have provided or the tweeters on my db1’s or ob1’s.  What is the background, if you know?

These are the original FB1, and those tweeters look genuine. You maybe looking at FB1i / DB1i models.

I bought mine before the i versions came out.  There was a + version that was out before the i so I pressume that’s the difference?

Yes, these are pre i and + versions :)

I did a bit of digging!  I think these are the original FB1’s and the other, all black tweeter is the +?

Sorry to derail the thread!  I just hadn’t seen this tweeter before and it didn’t match the picture the seller originally attached.

I had FB1 + speakers back in 2004. Also had the TB+ for rear and centre. Still have the centre.

These look like the generation 1 originals. The pluses had a different tweeter.

A good transmission line speaker.
