captain starlight Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Hi all, does anyone know how long it takes for Lloyd’s auctions to ship out items you have bought, and paid for, at one of their auctions? They were very quick to remind me to pay as quick as possible “so that I can quickly enjoy my purchase”, but no sign of any shipping info yet. Their website is also a bit light on for details….

agentorange2 Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 That is odd , because the system should have generated a quotation for the shipping. Sounds like a phone call is in order.
captain starlight Posted May 5, 2022 Author Posted May 5, 2022 It did generate a quotation for the shipping when I paid for my items - and that shipping amount was then added to the amount for my invoice, which is fully paid. but that was 4 days ago and I haven’t heard any further. As I mentioned in my first post, no further info, no consignment number and my online account on their system doesn’t say anything about shipping or delivery date. It just says they are all in picking stage. I have sent them an email asking but no response yet. That is why I am asking here to see if anyone else has the same experience or has any info? I find it most annoying that they sent me an email on Saturday, 1 day after the auction closed saying that if I pay early then I can enjoy my items quicker. That implied to me that items will be sent quickly. Still waiting…

It really meant that until the invoice was paid they were going to do nothing about dispatching your purchase, not that delivery would be prompt. Sorry.
