This wonderful album takes me right back to my 19 year old self, and the strange world which was the UK in the late 1970s:

The Eagles- The Very Best of The Eagles      CD-2

When I played this yesterday, I learned that at least for me, all the meat is on CD-1, and save for 3 or 4 tracks on CD-2 , it's pretty much a skip through affair.

Thank god for Joe Walsh getting me that far ...

The Guess Who- Track Record: The Guess Who Collection CD-1

I was on my way up to Akron, Ohio two weekends ago, and I stopped in a small town along the way called Mt. Gilead. I had heard that there a very cool music store there that sold Vinyl, CD's and vintage audio.  It turned out to be a very cool store, indeed, and one that I plan to revisit, next time with a list.

He had two CD sections. One was general release stuff and the other was what he considered his hard to find and NM stuff.  Sadly, a lot of his cool stuff was stuff I already owned, but he seemed like a nice guy, so I wanted to at buy at least something from him before I had to get back on the road.

Then, I found this. A 2-CD set, NM and he only wanted $7.00 for it.

No brainer. Besides the hits, it has a nice selection of deep tracks and should have been hits from the post Randy Bachman period.  Sadly, I have errands that have to be run today or I would settle in for CD-2 as CD-1 was such an enjoyable listen .

Steve Hackett. This cd was released in 2003. Guitar Noir is from 1993 and There Are Many Sides To The Night was released in 1994. Nice stuff 🍺
