Now that is a bizarre cover photo.

I'm picturing a dentist chair, or maybe War of the Worlds.

I mean, Wtf?

Del Shannon - Drop Down and Get Me

I just finished this one.

I just put this one on.  I've had this one for a while, but found a German GEMA this past weekend in Austin.  The UFO Live 2LP hype is not a sticker and is part of the cover art.

I know, and it's a great album.

Bought this on release and don't play it near often enough.

Speaking of odd album covers, this is no masterpiece.

Boz Scaggs - Slow Dancer

I think the guys at Hipgnosis had an off day with those two covers.....

Maybe just a miniature airplane aiming to fly into his nose? :D

I Like To Drive at 105

Fred Eaglesmith

Funny.  My wife, Julie, and I drove to Austin this past week.  The drive from Ft. Wayne, Indiana is 1228 miles.  US interstates that I normally drive top out at a 70 MPH speed limit.  I was happy to find out that in Arkansas and Texas, the top speed limit is 75 MPH and one Texas turnpike we took to avoid a tie up had an 80 MPH speed limit.  Since I normally drive about 5 MPH over the speed limit, you can really click off the miles.  Trucks are normally limited to slower speeds and don't pass quickly, so there are times when 80 MPH isn't possible, but it is still nice to travel a bit faster when you have a long drive.

I tend to gravitate towards their earlier albums but these Arista albums are full of killer songs

The Arista run is incredible.  There is not a bad album among them, and many are great.  I can't think of one Arista record I wouldn't recommend.

I’m still deciding whether to buy this and Bryter Layter on Vinyl. My four-square Kallax unit is nearly full. Three are used for records and the other one is for general storage. So my record buying will have to stop soon.

Now that's a poor excuse.  The real answer is you need to buy a bigger storage unit.

I like it too.  Tom and the Heartbreakers are his backing band, so not too shabby.  Tom did a lot for Del.  Too bad it didn't end well.  Del's suicide really shocked me.  I'm sure Tom was devastated.

I had totally forgotten that he committed suicide.

It's kinda sad really.  Among the teenage heartthrobs, he was the rare, true musician.  Mostly forgotten today.  :classic_sad:

Oh wow. Just tried some cheese and crackers from this cheese factory we stopped at.

They won awards for the best swiss cheese in the world in 2016.

I tried some sort of pepper cheese.

Freakin good.

I like good Swiss cheese.  We like to try different cheeses from the grocery.  We grill a lot and while I start the grill and cook, we eat cheese squares we cut up.  Last night, we had a good Swiss and I couldn't stop eating it.

This is Guggisberg cheese.

Not sure if you can find it around here.

They had so many types of cheese, it made my head spin.

Big cheese lover here as well, Jeff. Love swiss and usually have some Brie and crackers with my martini. The day, if ever, I win the lottery, I'll buy me several wheels of authentic Parmigiano Reggiano. My ultimate favorite!

I'll mention it to Julie.  She'll look for it at the store.

The cheeses we eat are pretty good, but more often than not, our cheese board is a spare plate.
