Black Sabbath - Seventh Star

LP Side 1

Actually, meant to be Tony's first solo album, Warner Brothers pushed him to add the name Black Sabbath to the cover to possibly help promote sales and $$$$$$$$ .
I like it but it's decidedly un-Sabbath like.

Hey Gene. Sorry, but I won't be able to make it tonight.  The Missus and I already have plans for the evening. I will catch up on it sometime this weekend as long as it's YouTube-able .

No worries Andrew.

But if it was Zevon I bet you'd be here. 🤪

Possibly. But then, I'd have to weigh if it was worth the doghouse...😉

While we're talking baseball this morning, I received this one from Amazon a couple weeks ago and haven't had a chance to give it a first listen. Seems like the perfect time on the season opening weekend.

I've never paid attention to it, either. As it applies to the entire site, it's just a reminder that I'll never, ever, even begin to knock that number down.

I have enough problems trying to keep caught up here. ..😅

Nice! Was Eddie interviewing Ronnie only or the whole Black Sabbath band?

Studio album from about 10 years ago. Fantastic album, just thinking I may nominate it for an FNL or SNL.

Do both 🙂

Terence Mann : Ray, people will come Ray. They'll come to Iowa for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up your driveway not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at your door as innocent as children, longing for the past. Of course, we won't mind if you look around, you'll say. It's only $20 per person. They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and peace they lack. And they'll walk out to the bleachers; sit in shirtsleeves on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats somewhere along one of the baselines, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they'll watch the game and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Ah yes, the boys of summer my favorite time of year. This is what it means to me - Backyard barbecues with the baseball game on the radio and an ice cold brew in hand. Whether entertaining family and friends or just chilling by myself the constant companion has always been listening to a game. I can’t wait for summer to begin. 🍻
