Further information: Very nice preamp. Excellent condition - no issues. Sad to let this one go but I have to stop hoarding stuff. Includes the 'light sabre' remote. I have been using this with my NuPrime ST100 amplifier and together they sound great, but they are not an ideal match as the output of the preamp is too high for the power amp. The preamp uses a 100-step attenuator and the steps are too large - it's fine if I don't use the remote and just set the volume manually. A really fine preamp, neutral and detailed, but NuForce gear is weirdly under-appreciated in Aust. Was a $5k component back in it's hey-day.

I agree, these pre-amps are woefully underrated. Yes, if using the remote the volume steps seem too large, although there is a half step if you can get the sweet spot. When listening at lower levels it is, as you say, easier to use the volume pot to get the volume you want.

You should include a picture of the Light Sabre remote as it is a nice piece of engineering, so much better than the normal plastic grud.

IMHO I think you are selling it too cheap, the only way you would get mine for $1000, is to prise it out of my dying hands!
