You can use it as a Cd player, DAC or CD transporter. Its build quality is second to none. The sound is very liquid and analog. The first time when I heard it, my comment was the singer sound finally had a soul.  prefer local pick up as it weighs a ton but happy to pack in the original boxes. The shipping cost has been included but if any insurance is required will be at buyer's cost. 3
