100ASLT Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Just bought a Levinson 5101 SACD/DAC/Streamer. I'm delighted with the sound but it keeps dropping off my wifi network, seemingly at random. Other devices on the network, including a Bluesound Node 2i, do not have this problem. The proprietary 5Kontrol and MusicLife apps that run it are clunky and no guide is included. That has been part of the problem but the main issue is the unit itself disappearing not only from the apps but also the network. The Levinson tech team are only marginally helpful. I've seen other reports of this problem on other forums. Anyone else with a similar problem or, even better, a solution? I am not able to extend an ethernet cable to the listening room. I can use the Bluesound digital out to coax on the Levinson but the sound is not as good as using the streaming function on the Levinson.
