DonGreen Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 Hi all Looking to add second subwoofer (another Q Acousics 2070Si, don't scoff), and wanting to match / replace my existing subwoofer cable. I'll be up for a 4m and an 8m cable to get reasonable placement of the 2 subs. So far I've found the following options. Any thoughts from anyone appreciated. QED Reference 40 - Expensive but looks pretty good. Mediabridge Ultra - Amazon - Some reasonable reviews Blue Jeans Cable LC-1 - Amazon (just found them) but shipped from the US - Some great reviews I will go with the Blue Jeans and wait for them unless anyone can convince me otherwise or suggest something more locally and readily available. Cheers Don 1
jamiebosco Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 Blue Jeans are the best built ones I've ever owned, worth every cent, and a great bunch of people to deal with. They ARE a tad inflexible though, I ended up replacing mine with cables from ProAudioLA made from Canare Quad, Amphenol RCAs, and Neutrik black gold right angle XLR connectors - these are also super well built plus extremely flexible (fantastic customer service too) 1
a.dent Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 (edited) I use these with my two SVS SB 2000 Pros. https://www.amazon.com.au/AmazonBasics-Subwoofer-Cable-4-57-meters/dp/B01D5H8GYG They work perfectly and don't introduce any noise as some more expensive cables I have tried managed to do.
