KEF Concerto speakers

Further Information: 

This pair of speakers were given to me as one tweeter was not working. I swapped the crossover boards over (they can be wedged in and out once a screw is removed) and found there was nothing wrong with the tweeter itself so I bought the Falcon Acoustics crossover parts online and replaced all the old capacitors. As far as I can tell, the rest of the components are all original and they sound as good as you'd expect. 

 

However, the veneer is chipping off in places and the covers are tatty and my wife loathes them so I am offering them for sale. Given the drivers and crossovers are all in good shape, all it needs is someone with experience with speaker cabinets to make them look as good as they sound.

They are a bargain at that price.  GLWTS, but I don't think you'll need it.  At that price they won't be listed for long.

I have a set of these in my large garage hanging from the ceiling on either side.

Just put a 300 watt Meridian 559 behind them along with a nice pre and a streamer and old turntable.

Let  me just say, they sound amazing.
