075Congo Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 Bought a bottle of this product online in the UK and had a mate post it out here. Produced by a company called Audio Engineers in the EU. Applied it as per instructions to my speaker cabling and to the grounding cables of my SGS 1 Signature. At 84 Pounds Sterling its not a cheap "tweak" but gets lots of positive reviews. Not sure if any Australian Company will take up a Dealership but you never know.
HdB Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 It is quite surprising the difference these materials can make - I use a similar product from NZ that uses graphene, etc instead of a silver in an oil base liquid (Mad Scientist Audio) - the tiny 2ml tube goes a long way and doesn't dry out over the years. Deoxit Contact Cleaner does a similar job but needs repeating - anything that improves the quality of the mechanical contact is worth investigating and your silver dissolved in alcohol liquid (on the box) looks quite promising, despite the cost
075Congo Posted December 30, 2022 Author Posted December 30, 2022 The original silver contact enhancer Silclear Silver Contact Enhancer made by Mapleshade in the US is still available. All these new concoctions seem to have pushed it into the back row. Then there is the WALKER AUDIO Quantum Enhancer at $325 US............lots of options.
HdB Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Good to know, and about U$40 for the Mapleshade so not a crazy price - thanks for the info.
