Hi, I'm thinking of buying a couple of RC boats to play with my daughter (9 years old) in our pool. I don't want to spend too much but still want it to be decent and fun. Pool is 7m X 3.5m.

I bought a cheap but highly recommended RC car a few years ago and was disappointed so can't rely on online (Amazon) reviews.

And recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Mr Gadget: In RC there are toy grade and hobby grade products. Pro Boat Jet Jam pool racer 12" at $190 or Sprintjet 9" at $150 are quality products but probably over your budget. Perth West Oz RC on YouTube is highly recommended for viewing cars and boats.

I think I might buy one Jet Jam. I like the rubber nose and attachment. Also no exposed propeller is a great safety feature.

Might need a second battery to increase the running time.

The value in these RTR boats, cars and planes is amazing. I got a propeller-driven VectorS boat recently with 3 batteries for $100. The Jet Jam is ideal for you. Regards, Ken J
