Mr_Gadget Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 (edited) Hi, I'm thinking of buying a couple of RC boats to play with my daughter (9 years old) in our pool. I don't want to spend too much but still want it to be decent and fun. Pool is 7m X 3.5m. I bought a cheap but highly recommended RC car a few years ago and was disappointed so can't rely on online (Amazon) reviews. And recommendations? Thanks in advance. signal path Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Hi, Mr Gadget: In RC there are toy grade and hobby grade products. Pro Boat Jet Jam pool racer 12" at $190 or Sprintjet 9" at $150 are quality products but probably over your budget. Perth West Oz RC on YouTube is highly recommended for viewing cars and boats. 1
Mr_Gadget Posted December 30, 2022 Author Posted December 30, 2022 (edited) I think I might buy one Jet Jam. I like the rubber nose and attachment. Also no exposed propeller is a great safety feature. Might need a second battery to increase the running time. Edited December 30, 2022 by Mr_Gadget
signal path Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 The value in these RTR boats, cars and planes is amazing. I got a propeller-driven VectorS boat recently with 3 batteries for $100. The Jet Jam is ideal for you. Regards, Ken J
