Fun facts per a discognati's notes: The Verdi Overtures were recorded July 7, 1959 at Watford Town Hall, outside of London (Great Britain), using one 201 and two M56 Telefunken microphones. The Rossini Overtures were recorded on March 10, 1957 at Northrop Auditorium in Minneapolis (USA), using one 201 and two M54 Telefunken microphones. All works were recorded on three-track half-inch tape. The Verdi Overtures were released as SR90156 and the Rossini, as SR90139. 2
