I had a number of these back in the day. The bees knees and from memory cost about $16 each when an lp cost about $20-$22.

.........and totally crackers!

I adore crackers...the saltier, the better!

I find it such a joy coming into contact with another collector's passion...

A collector's interest viewed from the outside appears as possible madness...but to the collector it is just another day in paradise!

I enjoy, I salute passionate and knowledgeable collectors...

I enjoy immersing myself in their wonderful, crazy worlds...

I enjoy living vicariously for a while there:hyper: to escape the humdrum of the ordinary and mainstream...

Long live the crazies, the crackers, the eccentrics and passionate collectors of our world!

You haven't seen the crackers yet - that part is is currently in progress. Here is part of it - a sneak peak of my tube tape head amplifier.

Ah, the tube4hifi gear is lovely. Curious what upgrades you’re including (aside from the enormous Audio Note caps of course!)

Its a great unit - i also have their phono amp and both are very nice with similar character.  On the tape amp just the caps, on the phono, caps as well as a choke and different power transformers.

Both units have the same tube rectifier power supply set up but have different amplification tubes.

I'm currently using it on a PR99.

Here's something else nostalgic, 1986 Technics amp and a 1988 Elcaset player (sorry about the crap photo)

As another person said. Pics pics pics! I love the remote although I was a noob and got one for an x10 non auto reverse so can only control playback in one direction 🙂
