Spent extra 660$ for upgrade by Gatti audio.

Only used for streamer not play much discs.

It can be used for DAC, pre, streamer.

apart from the cap upgrade what else did gatti mod on the player,does it come with owners manual and original remote and wifi dongle?

Comes with everything original, also they did install universal chip.

Hi, Is the universal chip transparent i.e. no input required from the user, or does it require some key combination on the unit/remote to change zones? What are the benefits of the cap modification?

it requires some input combination from remote, comes with instructions.

 

The cap upgrading aims to improves output sound quality. which does very good job.
