This is a stunning sounding CD transport. Very rare and has a big following. It has separate "linear power supplies" not one but two!!! (circled in red) one for the laser/transport mech and another for the servo board electronics, "most" top $$$$ ones have only one. Rotel really took this to the edge with EE development, unlike todays cheaply made ones with cheap slot load computer rom/dvd drives and that use noisy Switch Mode Power supplies.

It's my best sounding one out of the collection I had/have, but it has to go even after much trying to keep it, because the missus prefers the "look" (glass top) of the "almost" equally good sounding Meridian 500 MkIII transport, and you know what they say "Happy wife happy life".

This unit is in very good condition, couple small marks,  has had full service, new tray gear/belts installed as they all needed with this transport mech, should be good for >10 more years. It also has a very good laser, which as you can see can reads the TOC of a 56 track!! burnt CD!! in 2 seconds after the tray closes (pic) always a good test for the laser.

Has coax spdif digital and Optical digital Toslink outputs, one of the best spdif outputs (pic, don't worry about the ghosting the scope has trouble syncing to it) I've seen, Lampizator agreed. And comes with , it's  full featured remote that has the option for the display to have 3 different modes as well as off completely also.

East coast Star Track postage will be around $40.

Advertised elsewhere also

Payment PayPal.
