betty boop Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) any fans out there ? been a fan from back in uni days ... amazing its been going since so long. I was all due to see their concert in 2020 but it got cancelled due to covid and post poned and post poned...was even wondering at one stage when i saw they were performing at the Royal Albert Hall in the Uk whether I needed to get over there to see them ... so how thrilled was i to finally see them live at the Forum last weekend ! Glad i got tickets early and they honoured them for the finally rescheduled show post covid and what a wonderful venue ! they picked in the forum... first time i have been there since its been done up ! its like being outdoors ..and yet indoors... a concert hall and yet feels like you are in a night/dance club which was ideal for Soul II Soul for kind of act they are ... when i got there the opening act was a DJ really getting the crowd going which he did.. i wondered why a DJ then realised the roots of Jazzie B that is Soul II Soul once Soul II Soul arrived on the scene wow what a line up... 3 chorus and a lead singer, lead and bass guitars, drums, keyboards, two violinists, and Jazzie B doing his things on the deck... the place was pumping not really captured in either the pictures below ... all the favs... like back to life, keep on moving ...
