A brief update.

In another post I indicated I had my switchboard replaced and a dedicated 6mm power circuit installed for my gear.

Speakers are now isolated from the floor using Sorbothane hemis.

DEQX HDP-4 processor came, had a short stay, and went to someone else.

Auralic Sirius has a happy new owner.

REL S/510 has a happy new owner, system now has two REL No.31 subs.

New amps are on the way, Tidal Ferios monoblocks.

And I bought that Tidal Contros box, streamer / DAC / preamp all in one. It’s also coming.

Looking at cables. The ones from Germany are far too expensive, I am sure I can find local at a quality to match this gear. I really only need 2 x XLR approx 2.5 metres long, 2 x speaker cables about 2 metres long, and 3 nice power leads.

Room treatment an active work in progress, as best I can get away with.

I will keep the PrimaLuna EVO 400 preamp for a while, to have a play. Then it will also go.

Tidal Contros and Ferios finally on the way. Bought second-hand, but restored by Tidal to As New, with new back plates on the monoblocks, new style speaker terminals, and bonus - full warranty which was unexpected.

I received prealert from the shipper in email today. Looking forward to this.

Loving the setup now.

Tidal Contros streamer / DAC / preamp all in one;

Tidal Ferios monoblocks;

Tidal Contriva Diacera SE speakers;

A pair of REL No. 31 subwoofers.

Next addition will be the PS Audio Directstream P20 Power Plant.

I'm looking / saving towards some quality 1 metre XLR as well. And I have some shielded network cable on a roll that I will be installing from the router.
