Further Information

For sale here is a legendary McIntosh MC275 valve stereo amplifier.

Coming from the collection of a very enthusiastic and fastidious, soon to be 86 year old audiophile, these amps come from their original owner, a self-confessed McIntosh fanboy and collector. Having had three pairs of these MC75's, multiple C22 preamps, MC611 SS mono's w/ C2500 preamp running his Wilson Alexx V's, this MC275 is almost the last of his Mc amp collection and has been partnered with another MC275 (bridged in mono). He has decided to lighten the load and finally rest on the last MC275 & C22 preamp. His favourite combo of them all.

As can be seen in the pictures, the amp comes with its original box, all packing materials, power cord, literature, bridging bars & speaker terminal tool.

No blemishes and present as new. Estimated use during the course of his ownership would be very conservatively estimated around 200 hours. Yours to finish off running in.

Your chance to own an absolute classic and saving a bomb on RRP! ($12995)

Given the delicate nature of the unit, preference is for collection is from Geelong.

Otherwise, happy to post given the original packaging haven been retained.

On the odd occasion I make my way to Melbourne and may be able to organise a meet up.

As usual, donation to SNA upon successful sale.

Hi, the title says MkVI but the sticker that's falling of says MkV

It’s a MKVI.

Ignore that sticker. It’s incorrect and not made by McIntosh.
The owners MC275 purchases were made after the introduction of the MKVI model.

Beautiful power amp and great price. The binding posts changed greatly from MK5 to MK6 and this is 100% a MK6.

These work very well with some reissue Gold Lions in them.
