Quad ESL-57 Speakers

Year of manufacture: 1958 and 1963

The Quad Electrostatic Loudspeaker (a.k.a. ESL-57), revered by critics the world over as one of the most natural sounding speakers ever built, may well be the most beloved speaker of all time.

This pair was purchased by my father in England in the late 60s and were his pride and joy, bringing them with us when we immigrated to Australia in 1983. He fastidiously maintained them and they are in perfect working condition. They were last serviced by John Hall circa 2016.

Included with the two speakers:

- custom-built subwoofer, built by Chris Feillafe;

- switch box to connect the sub to an amp; and
- all required cables

You may audition but I don’t have an amp or other components so you will need to bring them.
