1 owner & a beautiful example of this rare machine.The cover still has the red levers which look brand new.Everything works & it sounds amazing.

Perfect for someone that wants better performance than a compact cassette and given the right recording/tape formulation vinyl too!

Thanks & yes I believe with the right recording it's better then vinyl.Pink Floyd DSOTM is amazing on R2R.

I had a Pioneer RT707 which I sold to another friend about 2 years ago but personally I prefer the Akai in sound.

No it's similar but not the same machine but the one on Pulp fiction movie was a Teac X1000 or 2000 model 😉

I have seen Pulp fiction a number of times & I remember that the machine was a Teac R2R.
