Vintage Loudspeaker Cabinet Production

Hi!
I’m after some advice in regard to having some loudspeaker cabinets made for a project. I have driver + crossover + all hardware, just need to have someone in Australia (preferably east coat) make me some beautiful vintage cabinets. (Based on Altec | Onken ). Cad drawings / plans will be provided. Any suggestions or recommendations would be very welcome, pictures for inspiration. ;D

Sorry to piggyback on your thread (happy to remove if not appropriate): I have collected drivers/crossovers etc. to make a couple of pairs of IMF TLS80MKii and am also looking for someone to replicate the enclosures. @neighbourhoodstud.io, I can let you know if I find someone too. I'm on Mornington Peninsula Vic.

Sounds great @RockRolley . There has to be someone that is capable of building big box designs, if not I may have to look into setting something up, if there was enough interest. ;D

With the horns an expensive component would be making a lamination former.

I like the top design.Although it might sound best horizontal so would end up pretty wide.

Hi Simon,

You should contact @Powerglide Alan is a master carpenter with a workshop here in Sydney and is has experince builder vintage Altec and Onken cabinets, he is current finishing a pair of Altec A7 cabinets for a friend.

Do a search here in the forum for "Altec VOTT A7" this was a full restoration he did a few years ago, he has since made a few Onken cabinets and Altec A7 from plans, I can highly recommend his services.
