I'm thinking of treating myself to some new clubs.  Looking at the likes of the Cleveland Halo XL or Cobra T-Rail or similar.    5-9 then some hybrids maybe 7, 5, 3.

It seems that all the rage these days is getting fitted for the entire kit or separates irons, hybrid, wedges.

I'm in Melbourne, so any thoughts on fittings and the like.

Check out Tour Edge clubs which are very good clubs for a beginner or player returning to the game after a long hiatus. Here is the set I bought about 10 years ago, along with my Ping Karsten TR Anser 5 putter.

The Australian Open is on at Kingston Heath starting this Thursday.  Anyone going?  I’m thinking about the Thursday or Friday.  Only $40 for the day, that’s good value.  First tee off is 6:30am, for those early birds…
