Peterbean Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 (edited) This superb direct drive is regarded by many as one of the great hidden bargains of hifi. It has an absolutely rock solid motor and a beautiful and sturdy tonearm wired with silver wire. The arm is a joy to use, so much easier than the high end arms on my manual deck. And when the record stops the arm lifts off! I’ve used different cartridges on it, including the fabulous FR 1 mark 3, which sounded a treat. It comes very close to the sound of my other turntable- a Garrard 401 ( a particularly good 401 in fact). It cost me about $1100 plus shipping from Japan and that’s still what they go for . I’d like to post it with pack and send, and do 50/50Split on cost. Lastly if you want a wild looking turntable you can strip these down to the structural skeleton - check them out online Edited July 6, 2023 by Peterbean Correction
