The unit has been in the rack since the install and comes with the 3d mic.

It would be great to hear your thoughts about the storm when you get it. I’m looking at the core 16. Greetings also from Wollongong & GLWS!

Paulie83, the Storm was installed 2 weeks ago. My decision to move to the Storm was not driven by a desire for better processing. I was very happy with the sound produced by the Trinnov in a room that was specifically designed for good sound. The sound with the Storm is at least as good as the Trinnov, but I cannot be definitive about which is better. Perhaps the Storm has better bass but I had no concerns with how the Trinnov handled bass. My move was driven by desire for more power in the three front speakers. I am now playing the system at -22 db or better with a lot of sound - more than my wife will tolerate - and a lot more head-room. Happy to demonstrate if you are interested.

It looks like you’re doing some nice upgrades.

Which variant of the Altitude 32 is this?

Max Channels: x12 (8-8), x20 (8-16), x28 (16-24), x36 (24-32)

Thanks.

It is a Trinnov Altitude32-816

Thanks. I’m looking at a 32 channel Trinnov or StormAudio at some point with analog outs. Planning to go active but with the crossover done in the processor.

I can vouch for Tony's well cared for gear, having purchased his previous, previous set up and given the privilege of hearing the Trinnov / Cary / Triad system in action.

A masterpiece of a cinema indeed, so I can only imagine what the new system is like.
