I was so intrigued by having frequency response and signal to noise ratio specified for a transport, that I looked up a service manual for this unit and have found that they are not listed.

This unit cannot have these, because it does not have a DAC.

You are correct. I posted the specs in a bit of a rush and I believe they relate to the redbook standard rather than this transport. Mea culpa.

 

I have removed the offending specs but here they are, and yes in hindsight they are silly.

 

"Frequency characteristic  2 Hz to 20 kHz ± 0.5 dB
Signal-to-noise ratio    110 dB or more"

I’ve had one of these paired with my ABBAS Dac. So musical. I’ve felt no need to upgrade. I liked it so much I snapped up another recently for my second system. When I picked it up I couldn’t park at the person’s residence and had to lug it a block away-weighs a ton!! GLWTS
