Bammo Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Further Information: bought these from Douglas Hifi in Perth late 2021z Been great speakers although soon after buying these I bought some duntechs which took the main stage. I’ve previously had kef ls50s and when purchasing I extensively compared the revels to the kef r3s. Both great speakers but the revels I preferred as the soundstage was much larger and the off axis is great which I thought is good for multiple audience. I discovered this brand through asr and sought out after reading the below… https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/revel-m106-bookshelf-speaker-review.14363/ to quote Amir from ASR: “Conclusions The Revel M106 is not cheap in a sea of bookshelf speakers selling for 1/5 its price or even lower. But I am here to tell you that it achieves a level of fidelity many of us strive for. Its objective frequency response is very good. But I think part of the superb fluidity and clarity it brings to delicate notes is its extremely low distortion. I wish you could be here to listen to it and experience what I did. To say that I am impressed by it is an understatement. The Revel M106 is one of the most perfect bookshelf speakers I have heard. As such, I am going to give it my strongest recommendation.” the condition of speakers is near new although I did find a tiny little mark on the walnut veneer. It’s unnoticeable outside careful examination. I’ve put a pic of it on the last pic with a faint green arrow near it. I have original boxes and grills.
