EXPIRED Yamaha PF-800 turntable

I purchased this table only very recently.
It arrived and straight away it received a service and some mods including:

* A new belt

* A clean out and refill of fresh silicone for the arm queueing mechanism

* A clean and re-lube of the main bearing using quality bearing oil

* A thorough cleaning inside and out

* A gentle polishing of the platter to restore its luster.

It also received a full arm rewire with 100% silver tonearm wire. This is 150cm in length and fitted with silver contact Eichmann style RCA plugs and silver cartridge clips. This mod required removal of the head shell and arm 4 pin contacts so the one continuous run of silver wire could pass through.

Please note:

* The table comes without a cartridge and will have some lower profile footers fitted in place of the Gaia III footers shown.
* There is a crack on the rear of one corner. This was a pot fixed with CA glue and it’s holding well. The lid could do with a polish and that was the next thing to do if I was keeping this.

Included is a protractor made by The Vinyl Source in the UK especially for this arm to Yamaha specifications. I’m not sure of the alignment type but it works well with excellent tracking across the whole side.

Should shipping be required, the table will be packaged with its delicate nature in mind.

A fabulous table released to rival many of the British belt driven and suspended tables from the 80’s and 90’s. It achieved this and is still a strong contender today.

Only selling as I have just purchased a tangential air bearing arm which requires a non-suspended plinth turntable.
