This magnificent professional practice piano has been in my possession since 2010, purchased from Balmain Pianos in "reconditioned as new" condition. Balmain Pianos certification is included.

It was painstakingly selected as the best of several Yamaha U3 pianos after a full day of careful auditioning. It had the best sound and the best touch of them all. It remains one of the most satisfying upright pianos I have ever played. An outstanding choice for a piano student of any age from beginner to consummate artist, or for a professional pianist or school.

The Yamaha U3H was the world's best-selling full-sized piano ever produced due to its consistently reliable performance! And this one is an exceptionally good example.

I'm selling it as I have just replaced it with a 1993 hand-crafted Czech Petrof 159cm baby grand piano. I need to sell the Yamaha U3H to partly finance the purchase of the Petrof grand.

To transport it, I strongly recommend using Extreme Piano Removals within the greater Sydney area. They are incredibly competent and charge a remarkably moderate fixed price. Or you can choose your own. Please ensure that the removalist you choose can manage this very large upright piano and has appropriate credentials and insurance. Note that the piano is on the ground floor with only one half-step down at the entrance, so particularly easy for the removalist - it does not have the substantial extra removalist expenses associated with stairs.

The piano was last tuned at the end of last year by Bernard Rait of Balmain Piano Service.

However, my newly acquired 1993 Petrof baby grand has been outstandingly restored, tuned and voiced by Vishal Malik of Strings And Hammer, who has also inspected this piano. I can enthusiastically recommend Vishal if you are looking for a reliable and exceptional piano tuner/repairer to maintain this instrument for its lifetime.

Even though this is possibly the best U3 you will ever play, I've priced my Yamaha U3H significantly below market value. I expect it to sell very quickly. It's a rare opportunity for you if you are quick!
