RickRycroft Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 (edited) Further Information: Pentax PF-100ED spotting scope. This is Pentax's top scope. Straight body with 100mm objective. Extra-low Dispersion glass elements. It takes any 1.25inch eyepiece and of course any of Pentax's great eyepieces. Though I'm not selling it with an eyepiece I'm happy to put one on it for a test viewing. The body is scuffed a bit and some of the thin rubber armour coating is coming off in places, mostly on the mount. The lenshood slips too easily. It would not stay extended if you point the scope straight up but I can't imagine viewing with it in that position. I've been using elastic bands to keep it in place. Glass looks pristine to me looking through and on the coating on the objective. Focus is smooth with just the right amount of resistance as it should. Boxed with the nylon carry case. New, the lens is $3637 RRP. Pick up in Lilyfield or post at buyers expense but insurance is necessary. Edited November 12, 2023 by RickRycroft 1
