I need to make some platforms .. nice rack job too Maybe you meant me? Spikes are also from eBay. I wanted something with a low profile, and wide footprint. They come as a male and female set, but I only used male. The bolts are just M8 countersunk heads that I got from Nubco. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/285000076305?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=o1sqtemstsk&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=1Ig596EXQMO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

surprisetech Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Nothing too flash here, but for those interested in vintage hifi furniture, here is my genuine original Pioneer rack and system in the man cave. I've had the universal DVD Player for many years then came across the F-91 Tuner on ebay, followed by the Cassette deck from my father-in-law. By that stage I figured aiming for an all-Pioneer system would be a bit of fun. So, the Amp followed and while I still had saved searches for Pioneer running on the market/auction sites, the rack came up, and only 20minutes drive from home! The turntable came last and is a Direct-drive model that I was able to modify to add 78rpm operation. 4
Hydrology Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Some sneak pics of new racks installed in place on Monday. Moved away from the large heavy duty entertainment unit in favour of some solid teak. 18 1

I don't normally do timber racks personally, but that looks stunning! 2
Analogueage Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 @Hydrology looks superb mate. Brilliant photography too, as always. Rob 2

Full transparency for those not in the know, I am the importer of these racks as @art of SOUND But I wont represent anything I'm not prepared to use myself in my own system! 5

BRS Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 My humble bunnings rack. Does the job as far as I can tell. Loving my Jaycar JV60 in Red Spade designed transmission line cabs. 10
brodricj Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 My YG Acoustics Rack 1.8 loaded with Esoteric, Halcro and Shunyata. The marketing video is impressive. I have no opinion whether it makes the system sound any better. 4 2
