Antripodean Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Further Information: I have spent a good six months with this turntable and have enjoyed it a lot. I have decided to consolidate my collection of TTs to two (one direct drive and one belt drive) as that's as much as I can fit on my stands and use regularly. The decision to sell the Pioneer is because I am keeping my vintage direct drive TT instead. (see my other TT for sale). I'm going to miss this one but tough decisions have to be made. I have the package for shipping but would prefer collection. My other stylus I used was an Ortofon Concorde Pro S, which is available for only $100 extra if you collect. I bought this from Max Headroom and attach his advert, which tells the story on just how good this turntable is! 2
emulator Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 I reckon these are a better deck than the new Technics SL-1200mk7 (at least for DJ work!) 1
Antripodean Posted November 27, 2023 Author Posted November 27, 2023 Yes, it certainly is. Pioneer took their time to get into this market and they knew it needed to step up from the Sl-1200 to gain appreciation
