Further Information: These great sounding Heils have been in storage for years and now must go to someone who will put them to great use!

The ribbons am told may need replacing, however, they sounded like they worked  great to me.

No reasonable offers refused.

Any idea how these would pair with Goodmans Axiom 12”? I’ve got a pair waiting for a baffle but read that adding tweeters may be a good idea

The problem that you have is the different Impedances of the speakers. The ESS HEIL AMT is considered to be a 4 ohm tweeter and the unknown version of the Goodmans Axiom could be either an 8 or 16 ohm, nominal impedance.  The sensitivity ratings of the drivers need to be considered as well.

Thanks, I was wondering about that, I have the 16 ohm version...

I would snap these if I didn't already have a pair waiting for a project :), IMO everyone should own/listen to these at some point.  GLWTS
