Greetings to all. This is a ROTEL RX–875 2 channel receiver which was top of the range at the time. I have owned this amp from new. It is in mint condition and in perfect working order. It served me well for a number of years hooked up to my Whatmough floor standing speakers. However, as I purchased more amplifiers, both valve and solid state, it was used less often but was given a run every 3 months to keep it in working order. All 3 sections ( tuner - pre amp – power amp ) are working as they should. The power amp section contains quality components such as: TWIN ROTEL CUSTOM TRANSFORMERS – A 4 PACK OF DECENT SIZED PSU CAPS – 8 POWER DEVICES MOUNTED TO A THICK INTERNAL HEAT SINK – ALPS BLUE VOLUME CONTROL. It is rated as 70 watts per channel 8ohms. There is a switch on the back to select either MM/MC phono. The power amp section can be accessed directly by removing the links between “Pre out” and “Main in” and connect your own pre amp to “main in”. Weight is 13.5 kg. Pick up only. Demo available. Instruction manual is included. Also included in the deal is a Marantz gold hi-fi system from the 1980’s which includes the following: Amplifier PM450 2x 50 watts – Turntable TT1200 – Tuner ST520. There is no lid for the turntable. All are excellent working order but no longer required. The price advertised is for the ROTEL unit. If you don’t want the MARANTZ items the price is still the same.
