Pio Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Hi, I am thinking to connect preamp of Mcintosh C2300 to Integrated MA7000 and in the future buy separate poweramp. I have two quesiton: 1. what do you think about the idea 2. Where I should connect it to pwr amp or to 1 on back?
georgehifi Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 (edited) @Pio Pull out the bridges. Connect your preamp to the Pwr-Amp rca's (top right) (bottom left) 1:And always turn your preamp on first when switching everything on. 2:And always turn your power amp off first when switching everything off. Otherwise you "could" get some nasty bumps through your speakers. Cheers George Edited December 26, 2023 by georgehifi

georgehifi Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Bottom rca is the left input from your preamp and top is right Cheers George
Neo Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 It’s fascinating as to why people don’t read the manufacturer’s instructions which are clear and readily available even if you don’t have the equipment. It has diagrams and explanations. Neo https://www.mcintosh-club.ru/docs/ma7000om01.pdf
