Guadagnini1836 Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 Further Information: Wavac MD805 Mk.11 (Anniversary edition with large separate power supply units) and Wavac PR-T1 preamplifier (3 box) An extraordinary combo in very good condition. At this stage I am only selling as a combo as together they work in absolute harmony, creating a sound that is something special. They are also quite striking visually, a wonderful piece of industrial art. I had them checked over by ‘The Factory’ in Canberra to ensure they were in topflight condition before listing. One small blemish, two small screws misaligned on back of Wavac MD805 Mk.11. Not visible from front (see photo). Both the amp and preamp are set to 240v. Available for audition by serious buyers. Please consider it takes me several hours to collect, unpack and set up! I’m selling as I don’t need 60W of power anymore. I’ve moved to high efficiency speakers and low powered 2A3 amplifiers. These valve amplifiers are capable of driving 'real world' lower efficiency speakers to great effect (see attached review).
