Further Information: This was on my bucket list of TTs to try and I can say that I have not been disappointed. It was not working when I first acquired it. Had been in storage for a couple of decades. I sent it for service to the bast TT tech in Perth, Jason Boyd for a full refurb. Total cost of works just over $1000. The Turntable had a complete makeover from bottom up. A list of the services carried out are in pics.

Apart from looking fantastic, it sounds amazing with a deep sound stage and quiet operation. Detail is captured I have never been a belt driven TT fan but this has changed my mind. The fact that something so old can sound so good is a testament of its quality and  build.

It has a NOS SME 3009 S2 ( fixed head shell type) which I think is a great match. It also comes with a new AT cart that has less than 10 hours on it.  The lid has a small crack hear the hinge which is not visible  and doesn't affect operation. The only reason for sale is I now have 5 other TTs and have to rationalise. All my TTs are vintage and I have spent quite a bit doing up the others. All other TTs came soon after the Linn and I have been spending more time with them. I can't justify a unit like this being used sparingly.

Happy to demo to local buyers. Cheers
