T+A P 3100 HV preamp. Anyone heard it or have one ?

I’m in the final stages of getting an endgame level preamp.

 

I have had a Pass XP12, Accuphase C2300 and Octave HP 300SE at home against my Chord Ultima Pre. 3. on demo over the last few months.

 

The rest of my gear is Chord DAVE and ATC SCM100ASLT active speakers.

 

As good as the Chord Pre.3 is (and it is a good preamp) it’s just too much of a good thing with my DAVE - a bit too relentless  and upfront sometimes.

 

I am wondering what a  T+A preamp would bring. I had a lovely in store demo. of the T+A PA Integrated HV amp. I did like the vocals and resolution for example.

 

But it’s hard to gauge what a preamp alone would sound like with my gear.

 

Any one with experience with this ?
