Hi all
Have attempted Audyssey MultiEQ-X calibration a few times though not pleased at all with outcomes & as I’m a novice, require the services of an expert.
Looking for recommendations for Sydney based services to calibrate my HT audio utilising Audyssey multiEQ-X software.

Cheers

Sorry can't help with a recommendations for an expert in Sydney, but a few suggestions if you want to try it again yourself:

  1. Room should be as quiet as possible - turn off aircon. Loud external noise can also be an issue.
  2. If doors are normally closed when HT is in use, close them during the calibration.
  3. Mike needs to be at seated ear level - a camera tripod is helpful if you have one available.
  4. Take all eight measurements - often best to limit to two or three seating positions and repeat in the same spots.
  5. You may need to tweak levels up or down - Audyssey tends to set the sub and Atmos speakers  low in my experience.
  6. Don't change the distance setting for the sub - this incorporates any processing delays and is not an actual distance measurement.

Yes acknowledge all of those points and have followed that process. I have no issue with implementing multEQ XT32 processed  through the Marantz AV8805A though struggling with understanding details of curves and filter options etc available on the pc based Audyssey MyltEQ-X program.
