After being told yesterday by Ted’s next shipment is June and when I’d know if getting mine … and another camera shop telling me forget about it … unlikely before September when we see any ..

 

suddenly I get a note from auspost overnight I have a parcel at post office … turns out it’s my silver x100vi from Ted’s :D

been few years since had a x100 in my hands … nice to own one again 

 

charging up and will have a little play, Fuji Velvia here we come 🙂

a lot of folks will be quite anti some of this kind of thing i suspect but its also the big reason folks do buy cameras such as these as it does allow some latitude what is  artistic intent and kind of result wanting to achieve. ive owned a few cameras with film simulation and film itself going way back and have a LOT still to learn... 

 

its part of wonderful nature of cameras these days you can play with all this kind of thing on the run without needing to change film rolls or doing all this "post" with various post processing thats also possible these days ...
