Hi

Im in the process of getting sorted for a downsize from house to apartment living by the end of the year, hopefully and even though Ive loved the Manley tube experience, I just want to turn on my system and listen to music without the tube warm up and overall footprint.

I need time to photograph and price gear Im selling, but in the meantime I should get started on looking at & researching my replacement options.

I was hoping for some suggestions on places to start as I havent needed to look at amps for about 7yrs.

New or used it matters not. My experiences here with used have all been good.

Requirements:

Cost - up to $5000 but who knows where the mood will take me. Actually MoF says $5k

Small footprint with enough grunt to run my Gallo Acoustic Nucleus Reference 3 speakers at a comfortable listening level.

Integrated ie 1 box

Sources:

Thoren DT 125  but could use PS Audio GCPH Phono (just another box I dont want.)

UltraRendu -  Klein DAC II  for things like Spotify unless I can get this all in the Amp.

Must have a remote.

Its an apartment, so I wont be cranking and I wont be in a room where I'll hear every imperfection. I just want to listen to vinyl and enjoy myself.

Something with the asthetics and ability in a streamline box would be great, like a Devialet. Though to get one in my $$ range might mean looking over at the classified. I just cant do old school big and bulky box now when its out where everyone will see it.

Thats it. Maybe theres things I havent considered. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Have you thought about an NAD M10? 100w/ch, phono, form factor, streaming. All under 5k total. could even sell you ultra rendu and the PS audio phono.

There is (or was) a HEED ELIXIR Integrated ampin the Classifieds for a while. Small footprint with an excellent phono stage. At $1350 including shipping well worth investigating. Dimensions 22x9x36 cm........6kg.......50w/channel 8 Ohm

Cheers

The other UK brand would be the REGA range....there are 6 in the lineup and friends with them are happy owners. Compact......all sorts of facilities......and remarkable build quality. Brisbane HiFi has the full range of REGA amps.

All in ones?

NAD M10v2 or Cambridge Evo150 would be where I look.

Bel canto e.One C6i, Peachtree Carina are nice, small footprint integrated amplifiers, too.

Steff and frankn's March Audio suggestion (+pre/dac/streamer) is also excellent. Great amps.

Just looking at the M10v2 at the moment and it looks like it would suit my needs.

Not knowing anything about BluOS, are there different brands of wirless speakers that are compatable or can you only multiroom with BluOS speakers? Thanks

Len Wallis Audio is offering a PeachTree Nova for $500 in the Commercial Claasifieds now. Worth a close look. O maybe other PeachTree amp options.

What about PS Audio Sprout 100. Has Phono, DAC, and USB and Coax inputs. Line Out for use as a preamp.
