hi all
anyone had any problems with the Neo mk1 power supply?
when changing from 33 to 45   the platter stops when turned off and restarted it plays fine it is only when the speed is changed
thought i would ask to see if others have had any problems and may know of a fix
thanks
Ray.

Hi Ray, I have a Neo MK1, can you clarify what is happening as I'm not really following? Are you turning it off then changing speed then back on?

Cheers!

no not turning it off it happens from just changing speeds.

Oh ok. If I select one of the speed buttons (the one not engaged) all that happens is the platter speeds up 33->45 or slows down 45->33.

Which, I would've thought, is what should happen!

Maybe contact Will @ The Factory in Canberra. Upgraded/ modified (filters/transistors etc, and new Wallwart plug) my Rega psu some years ago. Does a very good job.

Might be able to give some advice

I had a problem with my Neo mk1, not exactly the same as you as mine would just randomly stop in the middle of playing a record.

I contacted Synergy Audio, who told me there is an issue with some units where the speed control switch can oxidise over time - possibly could be causing your issue?

I had my switches changed and haven't had a problem since then.

Derek
