maddog1704 Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 Further Information: I’m selling my 50in Pioneer Kuro Plasma TV including side speakers (PDP-S60 system), Table Top Stand (PDK-TS29A) and wall brackets. It has been an awesome TV and was working up until recently when it decided to turn off suddenly and now it won’t turn on again. The blue light comes on but the screen doesn’t. Up until then it worked perfectly and the picture is still great! I'm sure someone smarter than me with this stuff could get it working again!
BATMAQN Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 I'm not trying to kill your mojo but I couldn't even give away a working one of these 12 months ago but you never know. 1
maddog1704 Posted March 12, 2024 Author Posted March 12, 2024 Ha ha thanks good to know. Did you end up dumping it?
BATMAQN Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 (edited) Yep went to the tip. Most tips accept TV 's for free or they do in Canberra anyway seems there's a fair few precious metals in a big tv. Edited March 12, 2024 by BATMAQN 1
Robbiefest Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 I've had an LG 55 inch Oled for 5 years and boy did I miss my Pioneer plasma for a VERY long time, and still do in some ways. The lack of refresh rate was filmlike and that's what I still miss, plus the beautiful filmlike quality to the colour, overall. I like my oled, but I think the plasma ( and pioneer ) technology was superior. 1
