DonGreen Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 I'm heading to Egypt and Greece later this year. Do I need a 2 pin headphone adapter for my 3.5mm IEMs? Emirates aircraft for the longer flights are Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A380. From the images below, it appears as tho the Airbus still use the old style twin plug headphone jacks. I guess I'll carry an adapter just in case.
rafalc Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 Just flew and plug my single 3.5mm and it worked for both sides. 1
zenikoy Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 Flying Qatar recently the "old" A380 seemed to need the adapter, the A350 got sound in both ears from one jack, but can't vouch for being stereo. I always carry an adapter in my flying kit to be safe, along with decent eye shades and earplugs. 1
DonGreen Posted March 27, 2024 Author Posted March 27, 2024 I've just ordered one of these, will give me the option of Bluetooth, as well as single 3.5 mm, just in case.
