Further Information: Black steel framed Hi-Fi rack with spiked feet. Shelves are laminated wood/board.

Unit has some scratches and marks on the shelves, but the steel frame is rock solid. 

Solid heavy unit.

 

  • 5 shelves (including top)
  • 106.5cm High
  • shelves - 533mm wide - 445 deep
  • Bottom shelf 294 mm clearance
  • shelves 2-4 (approx) 156 mm clearance. 
  • Condition of shelves is a bit rough, but otherwise good.

I use this rack in my main system. I loaded the verticals with sand in plastic bags. The shelves I decoupled from the ' triangle ' with lengths of that sticky felt product, so the shelves are decoupled from the metal. I also sprayed the metal with gold paint, so it looks great with the mix of timber and black finishes on the components.

So, light, loaded and looks good.

You can spend thousands on a high tech stand, but really, for a mid range punter, this would do the trick.
