Tony ray Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 I have an RX-Z1 that's has got a bit problematic and was wondering if it can be fixed or is it time to bin it. Such a powerful amp section It would seem such a waste to let go .
Jakeyb77_Redux Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Don’t know who would be best to work on it but you should have the complete schematic and workshop manual from Japan when I sold it you you mate. That might help someone repair it as they can be hard to come by.
Tony ray Posted June 17, 2024 Author Posted June 17, 2024 Thanks Jake , I think I will have trouble finding some one but can only try. Still works as a 2 channel its also great with the record player plugged in.

I haven't had any dealings with them recently, but in the past I have had them repair an FM radio fault in a Yamaha stereo receiver and a processor fault in a Yamaha AVR. Neither of those units were purchased from them. https://www.excelhifi.com.au/ 1

Tony ray Posted June 19, 2024 Author Posted June 19, 2024 Is it a bit cheeky to ask him if he could fix it?
