I have an RX-Z1 that's has got a bit problematic and was wondering if it can be fixed or is it time to bin it. Such a powerful amp section It would seem such a waste to let go .

Don’t know who would be best to work on it but you should have the complete schematic and workshop manual from Japan when I sold it you you mate. That might help someone repair it as they can be hard to come by.

Thanks Jake , I think I will have trouble finding some one but can only try. Still works as a 2 channel its also great with the record player plugged in.

It might be worth giving Excel Hifi in Hallam a call.

I haven't had any dealings with them recently, but in the past I have had them repair an FM radio fault in a Yamaha stereo receiver and a processor fault in a Yamaha AVR.  Neither of those units were purchased from them.

It was actually the owner’s old amplifier
